10 months

Do you recognize this baby?

It seems that in a short 9 months (that was his one month picture), he has gone from that to this.....

I can't get over how much he is starting to look less like a baby and more like a little boy! He is so much fun and still such a sweet little guy. That is the #1 comment we get..."Is he always this good?". Fortunately, he usually is. Here is what he is up to:

Size 4 diapers, size 9 & 12 month clothes, size 4 shoes

5 1/2 oz. during the day and 7oz. at bed time.

Loves to stand up and walk around. You have to hold his hands but he LOVES it.

He tries to pull up but can only get to his knees so far.

Food he’s tried:
Mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, cheese, noodles, yogurt, olives, baked beans, scalloped potatoes, oranges (loved them), that's all I can think of right now.
I did give him a new baby food, one of the Gerber 3rd's foods...brocolli and carrots with cheese and he gagged a lot.

Nicknames: daddy calls him punkin and chunk, I call him boo-boo a lot and nuggle boy when he snuggles with me, Grammy & Ian call him Miller Moo, Gamma calls him Mi-wer (replace the l's with a w),  Gampa calls him Bubbas (with an 's'), Aunt Whitney calls him Mi-wee (like Mil-wee, but without the 'l'),

Takes 3 naps a day

Takes baths in the big bath tub, no more duck

Likes to eat baby Mum-Mum crackers..they are messy! He's finally starting to eat puffs too, but he likes you to feed them to him.

Loves to drink out of his sippy cup. He can down some juice!

Loves Tucker (our chocolate lab). You can ask..where’s Tucker? And he looks at the door. He squeals when we take him outside to see him. He gets mad when we come back in.

Now army crawling all over the place.

When we go out to check the mail he ‘helps’ me carry it to the house. He holds on to it while we walk.

No matter how quiet he is somewhere, as soon as we get in the car he gets LOUD. He loves to yell until he has to take a breath. (happy sounds)

 He claps now.

Waves bye-bye a lot...gets his whole arm into it.

He also acts shy now sometimes in front of people. He will smile and then turn and bury his head into us.

Favorite toys: Animal sounds barn from his Papa & Grandma ShirRon, toolbox from his Great Aunt & Uncle Mark & Marsha, ball popper (NOISY) from his mama & daddy.

Christmas Eve

We spend Christmas Eve with our Granny & Papa Honeycutt and the rest of the family. It's always fun, but this year was definitely a favorite since Miller & his cousin Lainey were there. She is 5 weeks older than him and is a ball of energy...adorable energy. Miller was more interested in the Christmas tree and his Uncle Ben's i phone than anything else. He got a toolbox, a big stuffed horse he can ride on, a piggy bank, a stuffed kitty and some really cute clothes. What a fun night!
I'm still planning on posting Christmas photos...but it's a big job that I haven't had time to tackle yet. Here are some from last Thursday. We took Miller to play at a little playground behind our neighborhood. I can't wait for the weather to warm up so he can play outside. I know we have a while since it's only January. I'm in love with the big picture in the middle. I'll definitely be enlarging a couple of these.

9 months

Miller turned 9 months on December 8th. I know..way behind. I didn't get to take his picture that day either because he was running a fever and didn't feel too good. Here is his official 9 month picture...
Still eats 4 bottles a day, cereal with fruit, and veggies & fruit twice a day.

Still does the little pucker of his lips when he's trying not to smile {like in this picture}

Still no teeth, which limits the food trying. Some things he has tried are mashed potatoes (didn't like them), sweet potato, cheese, noodles...can't think right now.

Has started to scoot, not crawl, but he can get where he wants to go.

He loves the remote, phone, our cell phones, the computer, camera and video camera. I think he's going to be into technology like his mama. :)

Wants to stand up all. the. time. He tries to pull up but can't quite do it by himself.

Takes baths in the big bathtub now, no more duck bath.

If he doesn't want you to change his clothes or diaper, he throws himself back and yells..yes yells.

He loves our lab Tucker. You can ask "Where's Tucker?" and he looks at the back door. If we take him out back to see him, he squeals with excitement and gets mad when we come back inside.

He's more fun than ever and such a sweet little guy.

We had our annual girls Christmas party this past weekend. I have been blessed with such great girlfriends that I wouldn't trade for anything. And us girls have been blessed with some {4} pretty cute little boys that I'm pretty sure we wouldn't trade either.

Our Christmas parties used to consist of eating, opening gifts, laughing, and eating some more. Now..we still do all those things, but with a lot of other little boy stuff mixed in. And we love it.

Here are the boys...
Miller opening a present..like all babies, he loves the paper!

Little Max showing off his new hat

Landin playing with the tissue paper and the funniest story of the day..Elijah in the boots. Throughout the party, Elijah would come out from Landin's room with random objects and once wearing a football helmet. But, then he came out in these boots (one of them actually) and he said 'boots.' They were Teresa's boots. It was pretty funny and he must have like them because he walked around in them for a while.

As you can imagine, getting a good pic of the four of them is not an easy challenge...

I guess we finally had to hypnotize them. This pic cracks me up. I think me and Audra were singing Jingle Bells. I know it looks like baby Max has up a bad finger, but it's not, I promise. :)

And some of us with our favorite little guys.

Not pictured are our other great friends Autumn {behind the camera} and Lisa {couldn't make it}. I wonder how many more babies we will have at our party next year.....
