Frozen Belly

This summer, I came across a very talented photographer, who's work I just loved. Natural light..my favorite, and just so creative. I love photography myself, so I'm pretty picky. :) We had our maternity shoot scheduled, but bumped up the date a bit because we had a snow/ice storm and we were able to work it out to have our photos taken in the snow. I have never, ever been so cold in my entire life (the first pic shows just how cold it was), but it was totally worth it. Check out the awesome work of Randy Coleman. These are several of my favorites...

Sneak peek

So many people have asked to see photos of the nursery. I've had so much fun decorating it and I hope to have it completed this week and will post more photos and details then, but here are some sneaks to tide you over.

The aftermath

After 3 baby showers, I spent hours sorting through all the gifts.

This photo doesn't even show it all.
Here is a small breakdown of some of what we got...
26 pacis
30 bottles
35 burpcloths
30 washcloths
TONS of bath stuff (shampoo, body wash lotion) - seriously doubt I'll ever have to buy any.
Tons of wipees and diapers, which I know we'll go through fast.
So many cute outfits, blankets, toys, books, and more.
It was so much fun!

Showers, Showers, Showers

I'm not even going to mention how I've already failed at Project 365 (what was I thinking) and how I'm so not a good blogger.

So let's move on. :)

We are so blessed with so many great family and friends who gave us 3 amazing baby showers a couple weeks ago. First one for family and friends at my good friend Lisa's house.
