Surprise! I thought I would post something not 100% related to baby.
My free time for checking blogs on my Google Reader has been cut down quite a bit for some reason.
The reason...

{that's just my way of including a picture of him on my 'non-baby' post}

But, I always find time to check these two blogs.

Karen Russell

Love her photography! She captures regular, everyday moments with her family, which is what I love to document too. (Plus, she has adorable subjects..see above)
 I took her online photography workshop last year and absolutely loved it! I learned a ton and would highly recommend it if you are serious about learning photography.

And Elizabeth Kartchner

She is an awesome scrapbooker/crafty lady...tons of inspiration. You should definitely check out her blog.

I haven't had time to scrap much lately (because of reason pictured above), but I am really wanting to soon. I can't get too far behind on Miller's book (which I haven't started), because I'll NEVER be able to keep up with all the pictures.

So, there's my attempt at a non-baby post.

With only one more day left this year, I thought it might be fun to look back at some of my favorite memories of 2009. It was tough, but...here they are.

Everyone that knows me, knows I'm a big Allen Iverson fan. Surprising...I know. Our wonderful friends Jeff & Lisa surprised me and Eli with tickets to see him play the Thunder.


February
Finding out (at 5am) with my best friend Teresa that she was pregnant with her first baby.


March
I celebrated my 27th birthday some of my closet friends.


And...I took Karen Russell's online photography workshop..which I LOVED!!


April
Had my gallbladder out. Ouch.


May
Went to a scrapbook retreat..performed in the skit contest..and won 1st PLACE! I'll spare you the pictures from the performance. :)

Annual family lake trip! We all stay in one house together and it's SO much fun!

My favorite memory of the whole year. Surprising our family and friends with the news that we're pregnant!

My sister-in-law Whitney's wedding. Her and Jerod are such a cute couple!

Celebrating my youngest sister's 9th birthday. Isn't she adorable!

Landin Carter Judkins was born!


We found out we're having a little BOY!!


And had a party to reveal the news.

I Love Fall

I love everything about it...

Expect The Unexpected

One of the two of my favorite shows (the other one is LOST) started tonight...that's right Big Brother 11. I can't help it, I love it. I know it's just the first night, but these two are my favorites. Casey & Jordan. Hopefully they will last, as long as they stay nice...which doesn't always happen.

One person I do not like..can't stand really is Jessie.

He's from another season, but got to come back into the house... and he's very into himself. Just watch..you'll see.

Man In The Moon

Ok, so we got home the other night around 11:30pm and the moon was nice and bright, so I thought I would 'try' to get a decent picture of it. I've tried in the past with no success. But, tonight I finally got an ok shot. Definitely not perfect, but I was happy with it. :)

Hello World.

So..I finally gave in and started a blog. I can't even believe it. I don't even really know what in the world I'm going to 'blog' about. But, I do know I love looking at other people's blogs and I find all kinds of amazingly creative things, so if I have nothing exciting to share, I can always share the cool things I come across. (Or at least I think they are cool) :)

One of those people's blogs I read regularly is where I entered a contest to have a blog designed for me...and I actually WON. I was SO excited when I saw my name! I enter contests all the time on blogs and never win. So, I had this cute blog designed for me and I've added a few things to it and hope to keep making it even better.

The first thing I'll show you is my new favorite place to go on the web...stumbleupon.com. You check all these categories of things you are interested it and it generates random websites for you that have to do with what you checked. The first one that it showed me was tastespotting.com

I'm a visual kind of person, so these pictures make me want to cook! :)

I guess that's it for my first blog post. Hope it wasn't too boring. ha!
